Biography

Wang Chunhu: He completed his undergraduate studies at Capital Medical University and remained there to work in the Department of Surgery at Beijing Chaoyang Hospital. He was subsequently admitted to China’s most prestigious Peking Union Medical College Hospital to pursue a master’s degree in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery. He later earned his doctoral degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is currently Associate Chief Physician at the Facial and Neck Plastic Surgery Center of the Plastic Surgery Hospital (Badachu), Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. He specializes in body contouring and facial contouring, with a focus on liposuction and fat grafting. As a plastic surgeon with an excellent educational background and extensive clinical experience, Dr. Wang has developed an original aesthetic system suited to sophisticated Asian women. Technical Specialties:
1. Periocular plastic and aesthetic surgery (double eyelid surgery, periorbital rejuvenation): Create natural, smooth double-eyelid creases. For aging eyes, not only remove lax tissue but also restore volume lost over time.
2. Rhinoplasty (implant and autologous cartilage rhinoplasty): Build a stable nasal framework and, on this basis, create a differentiated nasal dorsum and tip.
3. Body contouring (whole-body liposuction): Strive to remove the vast majority of fat while ensuring a smooth appearance. However, we do not perform unlimited liposuction, because unlimited liposuction not only violates medical principles but also places patients in dangerous territory. Comprehensive contouring that is safe and effective, with rapid recovery and minimal scarring, represents the future direction of liposuction. We have carried out a procedure pioneered in China—three-incision circumferential thigh liposuction plus calf liposuction—to maximize fat removal while perfectly concealing scars. Our outstanding liposuction techniques are also demonstrated in two-incision circumferential waist and abdominal liposuction, whole-face liposuction, and other procedures.
4. Fat grafting (breast augmentation, buttock augmentation, facial filling): Refined liposuction techniques ensure that we can harvest a large volume of fat and maximize purification to improve fat survival. We protect the fat at every step of the grafting process. We can prepare various types of fat, such as nanofat and fat gel (SVF-gel), to meet the diverse needs of patients. We value liposuction and grafting equally and will not focus on grafting while neglecting the liposuction areas.
5. Injectable treatment (botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid): Quick and convenient minimally invasive injections help patients remove wrinkles, improve sagging, restore volume, and slim the face and legs.
